Sustainable Community Enterprise – That (SCET) is a community-owned social enterprise established by local farmers and residents of That Subdistrict, Sakon Nakhon Province, Thailand. Our mission is to build a strong local economy while promoting environmental stewardship, improving quality of life, and creating sustainable opportunities for future generations.
SCET operates on the principle that the community should own, manage, and benefit from its own development. By working together, we aim to strengthen local livelihoods, preserve traditional knowledge, and create innovative solutions that connect rural communities with the modern world.
Our primary focus is on sustainable agriculture, supporting farmers through environmentally responsible farming practices, value-added agricultural products, and fair market access. We believe that farmers should receive a fair return for their work while consumers gain access to healthy, traceable, and high-quality food.
One of our flagship initiatives is Farmlink, an innovative platform that enables people—especially those living in cities—to participate directly in agriculture by supporting real farmers and sharing in the harvest. Through Farmlink, members can follow the growing process, connect with farming communities, and receive authentic agricultural products, creating a transparent and meaningful relationship between producers and consumers.
Beyond agriculture, SCET is committed to developing a wide range of community-based enterprises, including:

- Community furniture and local craftsmanship
- Community-based tourism and cultural experiences
- Local transportation and car rental services
- Education, vocational training, and knowledge sharing
